Congratulations to the June Member of the Month: Daisy Rodriguez! Daisy joined us in January for our group on-ramp, having never CrossFitted before but excited to start. Since her graduation from our on-ramp she has been leading the top of the committed club along with Matt! Daisy started to attend regular classes in March, and since then she has attended over 100 classes to date!
With Daisy commitment she has quickly seen big results in all her movements. She has been crushing all her lifts with some massive squat PRs and attending olympic lifting classes to make quick progress on the most technical lifts! Daisy is well deserving of the member of the month title for her dedication and commitment to attendance and our programming. She can also always be counted on for a positive attitude and fun personality in every single class she attends!

How did you get into CrossFit:
I would say word of mouth, but I was always too intimidated to try it. It wasn’t until about a year later of watching the Netflix games movies and following the famous athletes that I decided to give it a try. I love it more than I thought I would. I did it because I started a new chapter in life and I wanted to try something new. It’s been so rewarding and challenging, not just physically but mentally. Someone told me it would teach me to get comfortable with the uncomfortable. And that’s what it does ! It humbles you!

4:30pm (I would like to try attending morning classes eventually, but I like my sleep)
