Congratulations to the October Member of the Month: Sarah Wallace! Sarah joined just over a year ago for her first CrossFit workout and has been hooked since that day (in fact I don't think she's missed a workout since then). Since Joining us Sarah has gained a ton of strength, while learning gymnastics skills and has added so much to the CrossFit 1827 community. Her infectious laugh and positive personality makes every class she is in a great time!
This past month Sarah achieved her first pull up, and went on to do 25 of them in the workout following! Because of her dedication and consistency to her training and the extra hours she puts in everyday, she is well deserving of Member of the Month. Of everyone in the gym she has probably done the most competitions representing 1827, including placing top 10 worldwide in the CrossFit Team Series scaled division!

How did you get started into CrossFit:
It took Mitch a year of convincing me to try it out, so I eventually tried a class and joined a couple days after! And have absolutely loved it ever since!
Favourite class time to attend?
You’ll find me there at sometime between 9am or noon!
Thrusters, burpees and squats!
Least favourite movements?
Snatches and rope climbs.
Favourite cheat food/ meal?
Love me some pizza and chicken wings!
